January 2019 Newsletter

Welcome to our brand new monthly newsletter – it’s 2019 and a fresh new year!

We’ve just survived one of the busiest periods of the year for us at County Foods as we supply to both the trade and general public at Christmas with all their festive foods. In the office our Sales Advisors have been non-stop calling, helping customers with orders and everyone was in a festive spirit as they wore their favourite festive jumper for Christmas Jumper Day.

Our Sales Reps have been busy assisting customers with orders too and are always out on the road travelling out to see customers. Mike, Lucy and Rob have worked tirelessly this month, hopefully you’ve had the pleasure to do business with them as they’ve visited customers across the South West of England. Also out on the road have been our drivers who have been busy delivering orders all over Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset to ensure all of our customers received their orders in time for Christmas.

Our weekly Saturday Shop has been full of customers picking up their Christmas orders with the 22nd and 24th of December being our busiest days. Steve our new Shop Manager has been great at organising the Saturday Shop and rejuvenated the look of the shop as well as offering new special offers exclusive to the shop and great customer service.

Over the Christmas period we had two trees in the office, one in reception and one upstairs, decorated in baubles and lights and all the lovely Christmas cards we received from customers and suppliers were hung around the office. With the new year of 2019 ringing in, we’ve packed it all away ready to plan lots of new and exciting ventures for the future and reflect on 2018 as a great year for the company.

Doron Krips, Managing Director of County Foods had this to say, “I’ve been so proud with how well County Foods as company have coped during this busy time of the year fulfilling orders for all our customers. I’m optimistic about the new year and excited for what 2019 brings!”

What’s happening in January 2019? Well previously we’ve announced that we are sponsoring BH Stars Awards and The Large Hotel category, which we are so proud to be supporting. The deadline for nominations is 8th of January 2019 – so make sure you’ve made your nominations! As well as the BH Star Awards we’ve also got plenty of other exciting things planned plus continuing to provide quality butchered meat to the trade and general public.

Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for supporting us in 2018 and we wish you all a very happy new year in 2019!
