As a successful, fast growing Catering Butchers, County Foods are currently seeking highly skilled butchers to prepare custom-made orders on all shifts. Reporting to either a Shift Supervisor or Manager you will be responsible for preparing bespoke orders on a butcher’s block within a team of between 7 and 14 production personnel who will work with you in a traditional butchery, shift based factory environment.
|Day shift:||48 hours per week, worked over 6 days, Monday to Saturday|
|Afternoon shift:||45 hours per week, worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday|
|Night shift:||40 or 48 hours per week, worked over 5 or 6 nights, Sunday to Friday|
As an experienced Butcher you will prepare fresh and frozen meats to a high standard, to individual customer specifications for supply to both retailers and the catering trade.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will have originally trained or completed an apprenticeship as a Butcher. You will be both talented and enthusiastic about butchery and ideally have previously worked in fresh meat production for catering establishments. We are looking for candidates who are both; ambitious and prepared to go the extra mile in order to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
