Our aim is to achieve this through our commitment to the organisational goals & objectives of our Company; our commitment is one of continual improvement to meet the needs and expectations of our customers whilst providing reliably sourced, good quality, consistent and safe products.

Quality Assurance

Our Quality Management System (QMS) has been designed to enhance our future operations, provides consistent monitoring and presents measurable goals for continual improvements.

The QMS elements are designed to systematically deliver quality products, to promote Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) utilising quality system tools to monitor & improve and to guarantee the integrity of our products.

As a fully approved meat cutting and processing plant, County Foods Ltd is regularly inspected by the Meat Hygiene Service (MHS) where the strictest controls are demanded and audited throughout the site. We are proud to hold full approval status, (UK 2057 EU) which demonstrates our commitment, our consistency & reliability

Our SAI Global certification, verified by an independent certification body has awarded us the highest level of certification, demonstrating our full compliance with all of the rules & legislation as required by our business and the National Association of catering Butchers Standard.


Suppliers & Traceability

Quality begins at source via a robust traceability system using only approved reputable suppliers who have satisfied our Quality Team of their quality assurance procedures, standards & ethics.

All products are traceable from the farm or source to the point of delivery to our customers.

We purchase all of our products from local, national and international suppliers who are required to hold an appropriate EC license to ensure full compliance to all EC directives and Regulation.

This includes the exclusion of any supplier who fails to operate ethically.


HACCP & Risk Assessment

All elements of our business are subject to the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). HACCP is a systematic technique of identifying all potential hazards and establishes critical control points for all aspects of our processes.

To ensure the safety of our products the Quality Team performs detailed and documented monitoring and review to ensure complete quality assurance.



Food Safety & Training

To guarantee that food safety levels are maintained to the highest standards, our team ensures that all employees are suitably trained and the company is fully committed and values continual training and personal development of staff to improve our dedicated workforce. Our team ensures that our working practices are continually monitored, evaluated and improved upon.


Our Quality Management documents or records may be made available upon written request or as part of an agreed site visit by appointment
