We are supporting local scout on his journey to the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea

Local scout Ollie Lewis dropped in to see us on Friday 12th August and met Doron Krips our Managing Director.

Ollie a scout from 1st Hamworthy Troop, has been selected to represent the troop at next year’s World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. Having received this honour, Ollie has turned his efforts to raising £5,000 to cover the cost of the trip. We are proud to be supporting Ollie as one of his sponsors.

The key theme of next year’s World Scout Jamboree is “sustainability”. Keeping true to this theme Ollie has created his very own “Great Dorset Bike Ride”, riding 80 miles over two days towing his trailer. In addition to raising much needed funds, Ollie hopes to inspire others to be more sustainable and encourage people to ride their bikes this summer.

In addition to receiving some much-needed financial support, Ollie left us with some delicious County Foods products for a fund-raising BBQ.

Ollie was overwhelmed with the support he has received from County Foods and everyone that has supported his journey so far. He remains confident that he will reach his target goal of £5,000 and be a representative of 1st Hamworthy Scout Troop in South Korea next year, leaving a legacy for future attendees. Join us in supporting Ollie on his journey by donating today!
